Vaucluse Residence “Sense of Refinement”

Working within the wonderfully overscaled proportions of this relatively new build, Dwell By Jo was engaged to furnish this home in its entirety. Proportion, materality and understated luxury became the key elements in responding to the clients’ desire for elegance and order.

An overarching sense of calm was achieved through cleanline form, restrained decoration, and the celebration of negative space as moments to exhale. Bespoke joinery throughout conceals function and creates cohesion. Luxury is evoked through select jewel tones and rich materiality – diaphanous sheer linen curtains, lustrous jute, wool and silk hand knotted rugs, alpaca velvets and deep timber tones.
